The series of jewelry/body objects came to be as a part of my bachelor thesis. The project aims to explore and learn about the possibilities and realities of interspecies relationships. I view these as a possibility for a better understanding and acceptance of our surroundings. Parasitic relationships became especially important for me, because of their complicated and often overlooked, or even misunderstood character. I subsequently reimagined the selected types of relationships through physical illustrations in the form of body objects, which should represent a potential companion — a symbiont, sharing its space with the body of the wearer. This „symbiont“ lets its presence be known through its weight and distortion of the physical human form. The result is a series of five objects — two brooches, a ring, an arm-piece, and an ear cuff.
